ON Dec. 19, 2021, Joeten-Kiyu Public Library celebrates 30 years of providing and promoting literacy, lifelong learning, and access to information in the CNMI. As a community anchor, JKPL plans on launching a festive month-long celebration from Nov. 20 to Dec. 19, 2021, which will include a variety of special exhibitions, events, activities, recommended reads and more that highlight the library’s history and evolution over the decades to serve the needs of the CNMI.
“Join us as we kickstart the month-long festivities with a book launch and signing on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library from local author, the Honorable Jose S. Dela Cruz, of his book ‘The Fundamental Issues Affecting the Northern Mariana Islands.’ ”
