White Coconut Computer Services has been an authorized reseller of Laserfiche for over 10 years. This is a document management system that allows one to scan documents and put them online for easy searching.
For example, you have documents or newspapers dating back for 40 years. All of these issues can be scanned, and indexed by Laserfiche and transferred online through Optical Character Recognition so that when an individual would like to search for a particular news item or about a particular event, all he or she needs to do is type the name and the system will highlight all the articles with that search item in just seconds.
“We already have a lot of government and private clients who are using Laserfiche in the island,” White said.
TimeForce
White Coconut Computer Services introduces the latest technology to the CNMI— the biometric clocks which both private and government companies should have.
The TimeForce Biometric Time and Attendance Sage Software, White said, collects, manages and processes employee’s time, hereby eliminating the hassle of employees clocking in and out using the traditional time card, and reducing the time used by the accounting department to compute the times that the employees worked.
“The TimeForce Biometric Time requires employees to just scan their fingers and the system will automatically clock the employee in and out.
What’s more, the records will be forwarded straight to the accounting department so it will be easier to compute the payrolls,” White said. He added that they already have some clients here using the biometric time and have received inquiries from several other companies.
