Ambrose M. Bennett
THE TRUTH of the matter is I find myself saying THANK YOU more than anyone in the newspapers but yet I’m the pariah just like they (Republicans & Torres) are trying to do to Attorney Kingman. But I say on behalf of the many who can’t speak-out, THANK YOU to Attorney Kingman for his talent & fortitude, your due-diligence and truthfulness in prosecuting the case and about what WE the People face with our Justice System. If there is one person in our Court System and even in the entire CNMI that I truly respect it is our Chief Justice Castro, but it seems the appointment of the WRONG Judge is causing catastrophic waves of dissatisfaction throughout our Commonwealth with the awful ruling of this Pro Tem Judge Barcinas. I refuse to even offer his PATHETIC justification offered by the Judge in his ruling, as I am in full agreement with the rebuttal in reference to the Judge’s decision by Attorney Kingman, it was RIDICULOUS and even Kangaroo in nature, just like our Kangaroo Trial Jude conducted — see the pattern. But after seeing our Supreme Court give Trump Executive Immunity to destroy our nation, anything by a Judge, especially when it is related to a Republican is possible. Citizens in the CNMI and even on the mainland need to “WAKE-UP and see that the problem is and has ALWAYS been POLITICAL and yet WE keep electing and even re-electing Republicans who do things like we just saw with this so-call judge.
If you don’t think it is all about OUR ugly Politics or should I say Republican Poli-tricking, just think about HOW the Republicans FIXED the election for the Governor when they got the Democrats’ best hope for Governor from Rota to quit before he even got started. Think about HOW Republicans asked Ambrosio to be an operative within the Democrat Party just to rig the election against Tina. Now we are seeing that even our Justice System seems to also be infiltrated by Republican schemes to ruin the case against Ralph. If you still don’t think the awful decision was about poli-tricking, then look at the FACTS that only Democrats (Propst, Sablan, Babauta) spoke out against the ruling, as you won’t hear Jude Hofschneider, Cruz nor any Republican complaining about what is obviously to me as being “judicial malpractice.” Heck, even the Casino Commissioners are Republicans, as the problem is clear.
I am just sooooo THANKFUL our Governor jumped-ship and will remain “TRUE-to-the-GAME” because “if you are true to the game the game will be true to you,” as we say in the hood which is real wisdom especially if the Governor plans to run for a second term. Ralph didn’t get away but he did win a SMALL battle that seems to loom BIG but our Governor can put it all to rest by simply hiring Mr. Kingman and prosecuting the case from the Executive Office. Like the many who voted for Arnold, I still have faith that he intends to “prove our Government can be trusted again and for TRUE, this is one of the final exam tests on trustworthy leadership.” For TRUE, the Governor has “no choice but to prosecute the case unless he wants to get-in-bed with Ralph again that ended with a RICO Investigation. Kingman is also RIGHT about the Feds “dragging their feet when it comes to helping & prosecuting the high-profile cases.” In fact, it was exposed in the newspaper by the Federal Prosecutor on Guam that “Trump had his thumb on the scale that put Ralph’s RICO case on hold.” So, if one will open their mines to be objective, open their eyes see the evidence and clean their ears to hear the prosecuting attorney FOR the People is saying, YOU will know WE have a Republican INFESTATION that needs to be ERADICATED — for TRUE!
Reiterating my sincere THANKS to Attorney Kingman, Representative Ed Propst, former Gubernatorial Candidate Tina Sablan, & Senator Celina Babauta for speaking out FOR the People. But if WE have learned anything from this experience, it’s the fact that there needs to be a PERMANENT Judge from outside Micronesia with no local connections as one of our Judges to avoid this NEVER-ENDING conflict of interest that evolves too often in cases that disqualifies ALL of our Judges.
So hopefully someone who cares in our Legislature will come up with the necessary Bill to end this conflict-of-interest issue with our Judges to evolves entirely too often due to the interconnectivity of our small island population. WE can’t even prosecute our OWN cases after nearly 50 years as a Commonwealth which tells me and most with common sense that something is wrong, and it is starting to STINK so bad you can smell it on the moon figuratively.
One People, One Direction.
