CNMI artists are in total disbelief after being informed that this year’s Flame Tree Arts Festival has been canceled without explanation as I’ve been informed by a reliable source.
As an artist myself, I share the frustration after years of preparation only to be told it will not happen this year.
Newly appointed DCCA secretary, Mrs. Maggie Sablan, and the Arts Council executive director — please provide a reasonable explanation for canceling the festival.
There is public outcry from the artists and the general community. They are fuming with disappointment.
