THE joy of the Marianas was revived today as the July 4 festival and parade showed what truly these islands and their people value so much.
I have written many comments regarding the strength of a unified CNMI citizenry. Today, again for all to see the joy, glory, and strength of magnificent, hand-made floats passing in review, emphasizing the greatest part of the CNMI, its culture and history.
Daily I read the Variety as both my wife and I found a second home while living on Saipan. Island life is unique and captivating in the CNMI and, of course, Samoa.
I’m approaching 90 in October. Please bury your petty differences and honor the land and the family for once lost they will never return.
My prayer for today and after I have passed. Thank you.
