Letter to the Editor: An outstanding teacher

• More than 50 percent of her students are performing within their grade level in math and language.

• She teaches after school  students who need extra help to show growth at the end of this school year.

• Her students won K-3rd math competition during last and this school year.

• Her PGFC students won gold medals during the regional competitions for the last three years.

Leora continues to strive for excellence because she believes and values the PSS motto which says “student first.”

Leora holds a degree of early childhood from Lassen College in California and elementary education from NMC, Saipan.

Leora was the first CNMI resident to attend Yale University. She appeared in the  Who’s Who Dean’s List which recognizes the top college students within different states and territories.

She has worked hard to better herself and equipped herself to become the teacher that she is now. She has joined the PSS family of highly qualified teachers.

Her parents are Nariany Sikyang and Benhart Ngirablosch.
