Although all of the absentee ballots have not yet been counted, it seems quite improbable that Mr. Pete A. Tenorio will defeat Mr. Gregorio C. Sablan (Kilili). As the putative winner of the election, Mr. Sablan should be given the benefit of any doubt that may exist, and should attend the meeting in Washington next week. In the event that Pete A turns out to be the winner, Mr. Sablan could easily transition any matters to Pete A. There would be very little to transition at that point in time, and Mr. Sablan is certainly more than capable of doing so in the unlikely event it comes to that. We should all support Mr. Sablan’s efforts to represent us beginning with the upcoming meeting.
