Letter to the Editor: Open Government Act request to MVA’s Perry Tenorio

We are requesting all information, through Public Law 8-41, or the Open Government Act, regarding all information pertaining to expenditures on the CHINA MARKET.

Please provide the following:

1)    From which travel agency in the CNMI did you and your team of promoters purchase your round trip airline tickets? How much did it cost the CNMI taxpayers from 2006 to present?

2)    How many trips were taken to promote China between 2006 to present? Please include number of personnel involved. Please include all per diems claimed.

3)    Who are the service providers in China? Meaning, who picked you up and your team of promoters upon arrival in China? What is the name of the company or corporation?

4)    What company or corporation in China provided your lodging, meals and rent-a-cars? Please include your team of promoters. From 2006 to present.

5)    How much was spent on meetings? Include after hours expenditures such as restaurants, night clubs, happy hour meetings and so forth and all other expenditures. How much did you claim as reimbursements from our government?

6)    Provide a list of all tour agencies in China you signed up with to promote the CNMI while in China. How much was spent to negotiate such tour packages aside from packages themselves?
