On their watch, the financial market came crashing down and all American jobs were shipped overseas so greedy investors could pay their offshore workers 50 cents an hour and sell their products in the U.S. at high prices.
Now the Republicans want to give tax breaks to the people who took U.S. jobs and gave them to China or India.
Where is the fairness in all this?
After the Republicans won the elections last November, they wanted to hold hostage the unemployment benefits of Americans who lost their jobs unless the Democrats agreed to pay millionaires and billionaires bonus paychecks.
Is this fair to our fellow Americans who voted for these Republicans? When will die-hard Republicans come to their senses?
The truth is the damage done by the Republicans didn’t help President Obama bring back the 15 million jobs lost.
And even though Obama managed to stave off financial depression, the Republicans still want to blame the Democrats for the mess the GOP created when they were in power.
To all Republicans, you can take this story and spin it and marinate it and eat it too. Thank you.
