Letter to the Editor: Taotano seeks more changes

This CIP funding must be returned to precinct 5 immediately so that the sewer project is carried out immediately for health reasons like the threat contaminating our natural underground water due to the large numbers of septic tanks currently being used by the population of Precinct 5 Kagman’s 1, 2, and 3.

An oversight hearing must be conducted immediately Mr. Speaker, for this entire serious matter is also becoming a fiasco all over again.

Again, we recommend that Representative Tina Sablan chair this oversight hearing.

We already received confirmation by then Governor Juan Babauta stating that he is willing to volunteer testifying on this oversight hearing.

The proposed lawsuit against the contractor Leo Daly by Lt. Governor Eloy Inos is premature at this time and can be pursued after the legislative findings from the oversight hearing.

Such findings and clarity of the issues surrounding the hemodialysis construction and the installation of its reverse osmosis system will yield not only a lawsuit but also charge those responsible and accountable to the fullest extent of the law for such delays and illegal procurement activities during DPH Dialysis Center’s construction.
