At the rate this administration controls our public utilities, everyone is faced with unjustifiable increased power rates which will soon to be implemented by the end of the month through another emergency declaration.
The government is still severely delinquent in its Retirement Fund contributions, affecting all government employees’ future retirement plans.
Given the entire scope of one’s payment obligations, the health and welfare of family members will be affected by unjust austerity measures or pay cuts — and they will be to the detriment of all LAWMAKERS this upcoming general election.
The right thing to do is OVERRIDE the governor’s VETO of the BUDGET if he so chooses to VETO.
Remove the austerity provisions! The people of the commonwealth have all suffered enough from this administration’s self-interest governance of our homeland. As a reminder, a vast number of our indigenous local islanders are leaving our homeland to greener pastures abroad — a sign that our government is incompetent.
