Tinian and Rota

READING the CNMI news daily and having a wonderful opportunity to live on Saipan and Tinian and travel to Rota I cannot understand why the Legislature consistently underfunds and underrepresents these communities.

Tinian and Rota offer a great opportunity with their farming, increasing tourism by funding their harbor and airport needs along with setting up businesses there to make the islands a haven for tourists, businesses, and even bringing in needed help to run these new enterprises.

The legislators and the governor’s staff have the obligation to serve all of the people not just a few! Work together or the CNMI will be a lost entity. I taught at NMC and Tinian High School. I have seen what I have commented on! Please trust me. Unless all of you work to save your islands and culture now you won’t hear in the future, “Aren’t these islands really lovely?”

Thank you for living there and all my great memories!
