Poker parlor removal petition

Interested Kagman residents who would like to abolish poker parlors from the village of Kagman can sign the petition. The petition will be presented to the Legislature. Interested individuals who would like to help can e-mail kagmankomunidatassociation@gmail.com.

Kagman Neighborhood Watch

THE Kagman Neighborhood Watch block captains will have an informational booth at the Kagman Street Market this Friday at the Kagman Community Center.

Puengin Inetnon

(KKA) — Puengin Inetnon will be held Friday, April 9, in the Kagman Community Center parking lot.

Puengin Inetnon is Kagman’s Friday Night Market that takes place every government payday. It begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

This week’s vendors are Canton Restaurant, Lynns Barbeque, Champs Shave Ice, U2 Collections, Kagman Neighborhood Watch, and the Library Bookmobile.

Puengin Inetnon is a family oriented event. Alcohol will be prohibited from the event. All are welcome. Interested vendors can call 256-7678 or e-mail kagmankomunidatassociation@gmail.com.

Precinct III village meeting

THE members of the House of Representatives from Election Precinct III will be conducting the first village meeting on April 21,  Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., at the Garapan Central Park.

All residents of Precinct III — Capital Hill, Sadog Tasi, upper and lower Navy Hill, Garapan, Gualo Rai, Chalan Laolao, Chalan Kiya and San Jose — are urged to attend this important meeting.

The mayor of Saipan and representatives from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., the Workforce Investment Agency and the Department of Public Works will also be present to provide information that are necessary and important for the residents of Precinct III.
