Guam Route 17 repairs completed
HAGÅTÑA (DPW) — Repair work on the culvert and pavement on Route 17 has been completed ahead of schedule and the roadway is now open for regular traffic, according to Guam acting Public Works director Andy Leon Guerrero.
“We were fortunate that all equipment and supplies were readily available and work was completed in a timely manner,” Leon Guerrero said.
“We are extremely grateful to all who contributed their time and effort to complete the project, most especially to the Simpson and Calvo families for their generosity and patience in allowing us to use the easements on their properties as a temporary bypass road while the repairs were being made.”
