Happy Market grand opening in As Lito today

The newly constructed store started operations early this week but it will officially open its doors to the public today.

The move, according to Happy Market owner Tae Yoon, will give their customers more space and freedom to move around while shopping.

“We want our customers to feel total convenience when shopping,” Yoon said.

The new site has wide parking spaces to accommodate more vehicles.

Yoon said their present location, which is away from most of the other establishments and from the center of activities in Garapan, is not a hindrance to business. In fact, he said the location of the store is ideal because it can serve the neighboring villages better.

The store’s everyday low prices and excellent customer service are just two of the factors why many customers shop at  Happy Market.

Check the spacious rows and shelves of Happy Market and shop from a complete line of merchandise that includes food and non-food items, fresh and frozen goods, vegetables, meat, fruits, household goods, laundry supplies,  kitchen ware, wines and beverages, dry goods, medicines, fresh breads from the island’s best bakeries, newspapers, and other basic commodities at competitive prices.

With almost three decades of serving basic needs of the island, Happy Market strives to continue its goal of providing the community with fresh and affordable products for more years.

Happy Market first opened in Chalan Kanoa in 1982. It relocated to San Antonio, then to Garapan, to the site it just vacated and finally to its present location.

Happy Market held a small get-together barbeque for its employees and some visitors behind its new building on Wednesday evening.

Happy Market is open from 4:30 a.m. until 11 p.m., but the management is contemplating on the possibility of staying open for 24 hours. They accept food stamps. For more information, call 288-4989 or 288-4990.
