1 of 2 defendants wanted by DPS arrested

KOREY Leon, one of two individuals wanted by the Department of Public Safety for failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing, was arrested Sunday, DPS public information officer Fred Sato said.

Laraad Ramangmau, the other individual, had not been apprehended yet, Sato said on Monday.

“Both have pending theft charges for property crimes, and [are facing] drug-related charges as well as possession,” he said.

If you have any information about Ramangmau’s whereabouts, call 911 or contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at (670) 234-7272 should you want to remain anonymous. You may also go to its website at www.nmicrimestoppers.net/.

Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for any information leading to an arrest. It pays to call.
