26 minors nab for consuming alcohol and curfew violations

Bureau of Public Safety Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that these minors whose age ranges from 14 to 20-years-old were arrested from different places in Koror over the weekend last week.

Chief Aguon said two minors were also brought in for smoking cigarettes.

The apprehension occurred at 1:23 a.m. where a male individual was also apprehended for accompanying some minors and for providing alcohol to the minors.

In other news, Chief Aguon said that on July 22, at 2:07 a.m., a male individual called police and reported an auto crash in front of the old Neco building at Idid, Koror.

Patrol Officers responded to the scene and initial investigation disclosed that a vehicle was travelling from Top Side towards the downtown when it run off the road and run into the small hillside.

The driver sustained minor injuries in the head and was brought to the hospital for treatment.

Aguon said the incident is still under investigation but police suspected that the cause of crash is alcohol.
