Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon identified the suspects as Teriong Miteruai, 20; Carl Ebert, 28; Nideo Alorak, 20 and New Year Albert, 25.
Aguon said Miteruai and Ebert were arrested in connection with the assault and battery with dangerous weapon incidents that were reported to the police on Monday.Alorak and Albert were also arrested on Monday afternoon for drunk and disorderly conduct incidents.Aguon said a woman called police at 5:27 p.m. on Monday and reported that several individuals were engaged in a fight at the Palau community College compound.Police responded to the scene and transported one man to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.Police arrested Alorak for drunk and disorderly conduct.The injured man who was identified later as Albert was also arrested for the same offense.Meanwhile, a man was also assaulted by another person on Tuesday.Aguon said the victim suffered minor stab wounds in the body.Aguon said a man called police at 2:49 am on Tuesday and requested for police assistance and ambulance in Ngerbeched.The victim was treated for his injuries.Aguon said the suspect fled from the scene but police has identified him.
