(Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.) — As of March 6, 2022, there were eight individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19:
Five were vaccinated, and three were partially vaccinated.
One of eight was on a ventilator
CHCC also reported on Sunday evening that 52 additional individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,126 cases since March 26, 2020. Some duplicates have been deleted.
Of the 52 cases identified on March 5, 2022, six were identified on Tinian.
There were no Covid-19 vaccinations on March 6, 2022.
The vaccination statuses of the 52 new cases identified are pending verification.
A total of 226 Covid-19 tests were conducted on March 5, 2022:
199 via Community-Based Testing; and
27 at Koblerville Covid-19 Community Center.

Of the total cases identified, as of March 5, 2022, there were 9,517 recoveries and 579 active cases.
Of the cases, 9,440 were identified via community testing and 686 through travel testing.
There have been 30 Covid-19-related deaths in the CNMI since March 2020.
