Airai State Legislature Speaker Mason Whipps said the inauguration will be conducted on Friday at the Yelch baseball field.
Whipps said there will be a program and part of it is that Gov. Kanai will deliver her speech as well as her remarks.
Last April 5, the swearing in ceremony was held at the Airai State Office. Land Court Associate Judge Rose Mary Skebong administered the swearing in.
Meanwhile, the proposed supplemental budget introduced by Gov. Kanai to the 6th ORN was transmitted to the Committee on Ways and Means chaired by Legislator Leo Ben Teriong.
Whipps said they forwarded the proposed bill to the concerned committee to conduct hearing and for further review. The bill will then be put on the calendar for the next session of the State Legislature for second and final reading.
Aside from the supplemental budget, the appointment of the Committee Chairmanship, Vice-chairman and Members of different Legislative committee also conducted on the last week Legislature’s session.
