AS part of the Women’s Month celebration this March, the CNMI Women’s Association will hold its annual women’s summit at the multi-purpose center on Friday, March 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
CWA was established in 2011 “to Empower Women for Leadership as Guardians of our Guinaha (assets), both tangible and intangible, to include political, economic, and social leadership.”
In the previous years, the summit was held at a hotel but to reduce expenses, “we have decided to hold it at the multipurpose center,” CWA Project Director Valentina Rivera said.
“We will still have empowering keynote speakers,” she added.
