A BBM-Sara UniTeam Grand Caravan will again be held this Sunday, April 24, starting at 3 p.m.
Organized by the Volunteers for BBM-Sara, Saipan-CNMI Chapter or VBBMS, the motorcade will start at Garapan Fishing Base across from Kristo Rai Church, then head south on Beach Road, proceeding west to As Lito Road, before heading back to Garapan Fishing Base via Middle Road.
Along with the at least 500 decorated vehicles expected to participate, the motorcade will also feature various floats, several mobile sound vehicles, the Easy Riders group and possibly two other big motorcycle groups.
A variety show will be held on the southside of the Garapan Fishing Base right after the grand caravan. It will showcase the musical and dance performances of Filipino artists in the CNMI. The Groove Theory Band will provide live music during the event.
The VBBMS will put up several food canopies in the area for its volunteer-members and participants. The VBBMS is appealing to all participants and guests to strictly observe traffic, health, and sanitary protocols during the event.
The VBBMS would like to thank the CNMI Department of Homeland Security, the Parks and Recreation Division, other individuals and groups, the VBBMS committee heads, and most especially its volunteer members, for their assistance in organizing this important event.
