TO express their appreciation for the ongoing efforts to protect the people of the CNMI from Covid-19, the Consular Office of Japan on Saipan led by Consul Ryogi Takagaki and the Japanese Society of the NMI headed by Mamoru Watanabe on Wednesday donated 200 bento lunch boxes to the staff of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation and the Covid-19 Task Force.
The hot lunches were prepared by Himawari Restaurant and Tokyo Mart Express.
“Today…we express our appreciation [to those who are] protecting [the] people, including our Japanese community here, from Covid-19,” Takagaki said.
For her part, CHCC Chief Executive Officer Esther Muna thanked Takagaki and Watanabe for recognizing the hard work of CHCC and the Covid-19 Task Force.
