Clearance sale at Bestseller

BESTSELLER, which opened on Saipan 29 years ago, is offering huge discounts for its remaining books before it closes down for good on April 17, 2023.

B.J. Daniels novels and “Bridget Jones’s Baby: The Diaries” now cost a dollar a copy.

The other books priced at $1 each are J.R Ward’s novels, “I Am Number Four series – Return to Zero,” Tami Hoag’s “The Bitter Season,” novels by Janet Evanovich, Candis Terry novels as well as NCLEX-Practical Nursing and International English Language Testing System reviewers.

All other books are 30% off.

In a public notice posted on the store since March 17, Bestseller Inc. Vice President for Operations May Camacho said, “After 29 years of serving the community of Saipan, Micronesia Media Distributor Inc., dba Bestseller Saipan, will be closing its doors on April 17. However, we look forward to serving the community through the Guam stores. To place and pay for an order, please call or email either location,” she said, referring to the Bestseller branches at Micronesia Mall in Dededo, Guam, and at Guam Premier Outlet in Tamuning, Guam. In an interview, Bestseller Saipan Retail Store Manager Tahannie Ayuyu said she has worked for the bookstore for eight years and will move to the states once it closes on April 17, 2023.

She said she remains positive and is hoping for a good future. “I am excited for my new journey,” she added.

Bestseller Saipan used to be located at Joeten Susupe but moved to MAC Building on Middle Road, Chalan Laulau, next to McDonald’s.
