The donation is worth  $100 a month for the entire year, said Jovita Flores, JEM  treasurer, adding that their company supports Aguon’s regular cleanup activities.

“We see him every Sunday, out there working in the community, and his efforts should not go unnoticed,” she added.

Aguon was picking up trash near the 13 Fishermen Memorial when Flores and her husband saw him. That was when they decided to support Aguon’s commendable volunteer work, Flores said.

Aguon, for his part, expressed his appreciation to the Flores couple and their gas donation, which he vowed to put to good use.
