360 Beach Club ready for customers

A FAMILIAR spot in Susupe is ready to serve restaurant patrons, this time as the 360 Beach Club.

The new restaurant is located immediately north of Saipan World Resort and south of the Guma Higai in the Civic Center beach area.

It is operated by Andrew Colburn, who also owns 360 Revolving Restaurant at Marianas Business Plaza.

Colburn said while the sky-top views at the revolving restaurant aren’t going anywhere, 360 Beach Club offers convenience and beauty with expanded space for group gatherings.

“Everybody knows 360 [Revolving Restaurant] is the best place on island to watch the sun as it sets, but here [at the Beach Club] from 5 p.m. on you’ll see a beautiful sunset off the water, but the trees protect you from the sun,” Colburn said. “Sitting on the deck at 4:30 is phenomenal. It’s a great happy hour spot.”

Colburn said the restaurant can seat around 70 people inside, another 70 on its deck, and between 200 and 300 in its outdoor dining space.

He noted that the restaurant is conveniently located on Beach Road. “This is so easy to get to — all you got to do is pull off the road and in five seconds you’re inside,” Colburn said. “I’ve got unlimited parking, basically, because as residents of this island you or anybody can park [on the public beach] as long as you want to, but I also have a parking lot out back.”

Colburn said his staff will deliver takeout orders to customers who prefer not to leave their vehicles or who want to skip the line at fast-food restaurants.

Longtime customers of 360 Revolving Restaurant will find many of their favorite menu items at 360 Beach Club, but Colburn said he will offer new dishes to better please his customers.

“At Revolving Restaurant 360 it was an ongoing process to make the menu better for the island and that’s the same thing we got going on here,” he said. “As people come in we would love to hear their suggestions of things to add to the menu. Six months from now we don’t expect our menu to be the same.”

The 360 Beach Club menu includes grilled lobster tails, tiger shrimp, spaghetti Bolognese, and other favorites, such as Hawaiian tuna poké, corned beef sandwich, seafood pasta and more.

“We’re trying to be the best,” head chef Zaldy Muyon said.

360 Beach Club is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week and accepts reservations.

Colburn said groups have already reserved holiday party space, and their package menu deals are available for groups of all sizes, starting from 20 persons.
