(Bayani Association) — On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Bayani Association held its “Gandang Pinay 2025” beauty pageant for a cause at Saipan World Resort. The venue was jampacked with friends, family members, and supporters of the 10 candidates vying for the title.
During their four months of preparation, the candidates went through vigorous rehearsals, attended boot camp training, conducted beach cleanups, team building, event performances, and promotions.
The Top 5 major awards
The Gandang Pinay grand winner, Princess Dennice I. Pedrano, 16, was also named Runway Model, Best in Talent for performing Foxtrot and Salsa ballroom dance, and Best in Evening Gown.
First Runner-Up Ashley Mae B. Gabriel, 17, received the Star Award.
Second Runner-Up Maria Analine S. Barcelo, 17, was Best in Fun Fashion, Ms. Charity first runner-up, and recipient of the prestigious Bayani Award.
Third Runner-Up Angel Lou D. Buensalido, 19, received the Spirit Award, and was named Ms. Charity
Fourth Runner-Up Donna Rose U. Santiago, 17, was Miss Photogenic.
The candidates’ special awardees are Miss Congeniality/Friendship, Chiaralei Mendoza; Miss Personality, Aislinn Laxamana; Miss Charm, Zandra Caine Mariano; Spokesmodel awardee, Princess Sophia S. Gerardino; and Miss Exquisite, Lyann Kriztel Dela Cruz.

The pageant’s judges were Jimaela Anne Ham, Miss Earth Northern Marianas 2024 Heavenly Divine Pangelinan, Miss Northern Marianas Water 2020 Zoe Stephanson, Mr. Bench Legaspi, Rosalyn Ajoste, and TSL Foundation Director Merlie Tolentino, who also served as the chair of the panel of judges.
Aldwin Ray Batusin, Malou Lambat, and Gemma Eugenio were the tabulators.
The pageant entertainers were Xtreme Fitness 670, Gandang Pinay 2023 Fourth Runner-Up Bernice Shane Sabino, and the Bayani Association Drag Queen 2022 Shine Vizcarra.
The pageant’s four beneficiaries are the Bahay ni Maria and Virlanie Foundation in the Philippines, the CHCC Physical Therapy Department, and San Jose Parish Church for its ongoing renovations.
Pageant director par excellence Ernie Molina conceptualized, directed, and choreographed the show.
The Bayani Association president, Yolanda De Ramos, would also like to extend their gratitude to the parents of the candidates who worked hard in selling the charity tickets. Thank you, too, to all sponsors, donors, and volunteers who supported the pageant and to the officers and members of the organization, she added.
Annamae Adaza, the mistress of ceremonies, extends her appreciation to Eydie Uy of Makeover Salon for her hair and make-up, and Mafe Ngalongalo of Perfect Time Boutique for her gown.
