The purpose of the emergency power interruption is to de-energize utility lines to allow CUC linemen to safely replace a cracked concrete power pole located near the shoulder outer lane of Isa Drive in San Vicente (before Zori Zori). Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
On Friday, Aug. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be a scheduled power interruption in Papago to allow CUC linemen to safely replace a rotted three-phase dead-end primary pole. Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.
