ON April 13, 2024, the Lions Clubs International, Region 2, District 204 conducted their annual health fair at the Joeten and Daidai Social Hall of Mt. Carmel Cathedral.
262 individuals availed themselves of the following services: blood pressure check, glucose check, immunization, vision check, cardiopulmonary resuscitation demo, CHCC Non-Communicable Diseases Program information, CHCC Communicable Diseases Program information, free reading glasses, diabetes awareness, Lions Clubs International membership drive, a free haircut, massage, and a raffle ticket for those who visited at least six service stations.
The health fair opened with a Zumba session conducted by Xtreme Fitness 670.
Region 1 Guam Lions joined the event and were headed by District Governor Blanca Imbo, First Vice District Governor Roy Adonay, Second Vice District Governor Ronald Hidalgo, Zone Chair Lota Hidalgo, Zone Chair John Cruz, Global Extension Team Past District Governor Lion Monito Co, Global Leadership Team Coordinator Romy Villaluna, Global Service Team Coordinator Past District Governor Herbie Perez, Ways & Means Co-Chair Naty Bui and Past District Governor Atoy Banting of Region 2, Saipan.
The Region 1 leaders donated the prizes for the raffle draws.

“We are happy with the turnout and appreciate all the help and collaboration with all the service providers and sponsors — without their support our event would not be possible,” Region Chair Annamae Adaza said.
She also thanked the Lions who volunteered to ensure the success of the health fair. These included Global Service Team Vice Chair Maria Javier, Zone Chairs Arceli Lizama, Argie Buensalido, and Marcelo Masilungan.
