The purpose of the scheduled water interruption is to allow CUC’s contractor, Hong Ye Construction, to perform system improvements by relocating existing water service lines to the distribution line for a more reliable water system. In addition, a new 12-inch gate valve will be installed on Chacha Road in Kagman. This work is part of CUC’s Kagman waterline and booster rehabilitation replacement project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of the Interior.
