The free vaccines were administered to people, receiving their first dose, and to those receiving their second dose of the Moderna vaccine. The island market is located at the Yap Living History Museum in Colonia.

Yap Health Services is also planning to have a booth at the Father’s Day event on June 20 at the museum grounds, so those stopping for some fresh produce, takeout food, or to see a traditional dance, can also get a free Covid-19 vaccine. As of May 29, 2021, Yap State had fully vaccinated 2,920 or 42% of the adult population.
