THE office of Precinct 4 Rep. Joel Camacho has spent close to $5,000 to have a donated playground equipment refurbished and reinstalled at Tanapag beach.
“The previous playground equipment installed by the Tasa Group is still there — the new equipment is an add-on,” Camacho said.
“My office will also be repairing the swings and repainting the concrete benches,” he added.
Camacho is asking members of the community “to please take care of the newly installed playground equipment and to pick up after their trash when leaving the area.”
He also thanked Crowne Plaza for donating the playground equipment as well as former Rep. Frank “Boy” Aldan for helping secure the playground set, and Saipan Mayor David Apatang for getting the equipment delivered to the site.
