(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be an emergency water service interruption on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for customers in the areas of Upper and Lower Navy Hill, Upper Miha Housing and China Town. Customers in the Chalan Galaide and As Falape areas will receive water on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at 6 a.m.

The emergency water interruption is due to a 6-inch transmission waterline leak located on Coastal Drive near the Maui 4 Shaft Well in Sadog Tasi. Water service to the affected areas is anticipated to be restored as mentioned above. Customers in the Chalan Galaide and As Falape area are anticipated to receive water on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 to allow ample time for the Calhoun Water Tanks to fill up.
For the safety of the men and women at the jobsite, motorists are advised to proceed with caution and/or take alternate routes as a portion of the roadway will be closed during the repair.
