FEMA Region IX Industry Day webinar event

(Press Release) — The CNMI Procurement Technical Assistance Center, in partnership with FEMA Region IX Office of Chief Procurement Officer, is hosting a FEMA Industry Day Webinar on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 10 a.m.

This event aims to establish strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders and to connect CNMI vendors with program offices in support of FEMA’s mission to increase contracting opportunities to Commonwealth vendors.

FEMA Region IX contracting officers will share with participants:

1) Types of products and services FEMA seeks to procure

2) Updated information on commodities purchased during Super Typhoon Yutu response mission

3) Importance of participation by local and small business owners and why FEMA Region IX needs local vendors in Saipan, Tinian and Rota

4) How to do business with FEMA

5) How to transform your business

FEMA will also feature guest vendor speakers from Guam and Saipan small business owners that worked with FEMA for the first time who will share individual testimonial of their experience in working with FEMA.
