HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A 65-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after a structure fire in Dededo Tuesday morning.
According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Nick Garrido, at 7:31 a.m., units responded to East Nandez Avenue in Dededo for a reported structure fire.
“Upon arrival, personnel found a concrete structure with heavy smoke exiting throughout the structure. The fire was located in a single bedroom,” Garrido stated.
“GFD medics transported a 65-year-old female for smoke inhalation to (Guam Regional Medical City),” Garrido added.
The Guam Fire Department shield is displayed on an ambulance on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024.
