GVB celebrates Guam Korean market’s successful recovery

HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — The Guam Visitors Bureau Korea hosted a 2023 GVB Travel Mart event and year-end party highlighting the successful recovery of the Korean market for Guam and their shared accomplishments.

The Travel Mart, led by Inalåhan Mayor Anthony P. Chargualaf Jr. and GVB Global Marketing Director Nadine Leon Guerrero, and the year-end party gathered over 200 in Seoul, South Korea, where they engaged in Guam’s product offerings and established new connections with Guam partners.

“The thriving relationship between Guam and Korea is a testament to the enduring bonds between our nations. The dedication and hard work demonstrated by the Guam Visitors Bureau, airline carriers, and Korean travel agents have not only strengthened the economic ties between our regions but have also fostered cultural exchange and understanding,” said Andrew Gately, U.S. Embassy commercial service minister counselor.

During the event, GVB Korea Country Manager Jay Park gave a presentation on Guam’s market and GVB Korea’s plan and goals for the upcoming new year.

“As we step into the new year filled with endless possibilities, let’s continue to build on the foundation we’ve made (and look forward to) the exciting journeys that lie ahead,” said Chargualaf.
