According to the Governor’s office, the swearing in ceremony coincides with the Constitutional Day of the State. However the venue is yet to be confirmed.
There are two places that the state is eyeing the holding of the oath taking ceremony which is either at the Kayangel State office or at the Koror Supreme Court.
Incumbent Gov. Edwin Chiokai will be sworn again after beating Jeffrey Titiml on May 25 Kayangel State 14th General elections.
For the 12 legislatures the elected officials are: Esichang Takawo, Valentina Bangiar Omelau, Clifford Poch Osima, Midas Ngiracheluolu, Roman Mongami, Inawo Sebaklim, Asailee Yamada, Richard Ngiraked, Hadley Hesus, Elmis Ruluked, Kurt Ngiraked, and Jack Ngiraked.
The Kayangel State Election is conducted every last Tuesday of May. Elected officials have a term of two years in office.
