11 Saipan students to join Japan cultural exchange program

Last Friday was the deadline for submission of applications.

Seman said the number of students is limited and they are now sending the profiles and background information of each participating student to their host families in Japan.

The students’ itineraries in Japan include a visit to the Sensouji Temple and the old traditional shopping street as well as the observatory at the Tokyo metropolitan government building.

They will also visit the Live Safely Learning Center and  Tokyo Disneyland.

The mayor’s office will be sending two chaperones with the students.
