Feng Lin Zheng, 49, and Yushuang Zhao, 39, were separately arrested after a cooperating source working for the Department of Public Safety’s Drug Enforcement Task Force and Division of Customs were able to buy “ice” from them on March 31, 2010.
Associate Judge Kenneth Govendo authorized an eavesdropping search warrant on March 29, 2010 against the defendants in San Antonio.
Zheng and Zhao are being held for illegal possession and trafficking of a controlled substance.
Govendo has set a $60,000 bail each for the defendants.
