In a memorandum issued on Wednesday, the governor said David B. Rosario will be the acting director of DEQ until Nov. 19.
DEQ Director Frank Rabauliman went off-island and won’t return until that date. No other details were provided.
In a separate communication, the council’s board chose Pamela Sablan to oversee the Council on Development Disabilities office until further notice.
“Please extend your full cooperation and assistance to Ms. Sablan as she assumes this additional responsibility,” wrote acting board chairman Derek Duenas in a communication advising different government agencies about the new appointment.
