Sword has a master’s degree in engineering and is a professional engineer based on the National Council of Engineering Examiners standards in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
Sword also has certification in API tank inspection; management experience of at least 10 years in a multi-service utility, public works or petroleum tank farm operation.
This time, Cepeda said CUC may hire someone who meets the minimum requirements: four years in college with major work in engineering, science or other fields related to work in engineering, science, project management, and environmental compliance; and one to three years of experience in oil spill prevention, preparedness and response, environmental assessment, construction oversight or power plant operations.
