The delegation left Saipan yesterday morning with three members of the Liberation Committee: Teresita Camacho, Angie Sablan and Pete Lucas.
The committee is paying for their travel.
Mayor Donald G. Flores left on Monday to meet with the Guam mayors.
Martha Sablan, Liberation Committee member, said Marla Helbert, the Liberation fifth princess, decided not to go.
Liberation second princess Marie Kastel Santos Tambiga has to attend her nursing class while Liberation their runner-up Zelma Alyssa Dela Cruz Santos has to report for work.
Both decided not to join the Saipan delegation.
Sablan said some parents accompanied their daughters but the Liberation Committee paid for the travel expenses of the Liberation queen and princesses only.
2010 Liberation Day Queen Josifynn Vivian Quitugua and her Royal Court will attend a candle light vigil and remembrance wreath presentation at the carnival grounds in Hagåtña.
With Quitugua are Rayna Anabeth Deleon Guerrero Chong, Berlani Tayleen B. Apatang, Angela Bermudes Aldan, Yuri Marie Evarrola Cepeda, Sashana Igitol Atalig, and Khrystene Atalig,
The Saipan delegation is expected to return to the island on Thursday afternoon.
