Late yesterday afternoon, justices and judges as well as judiciary staffers were seen coming in and out of the court as they prepared for today’s event.
A justice and judge were seen passing each other a ukulele, while staffers were conducting rehearsals.
Other workers were arranging chairs and tables in the lobby.
A private videographer was also seen positioning his camera.
Judge Camacho presided over pre-judgment hearings, a status conference, an evidentiary hearing, and a bench trial. All were small claims cases.
