Anafel said the meeting is needed so that proper guidance and direction may be pursued by state representatives to the conference.
The issues expected to be raised for discussions include:
• Social Security
• Foreign Investment
• Food Security
• Humanitarian Assistance
• Manpower Development
• Guidelines on emergency response between national and states
• The 5th Year Compact Review
The state-national leadership conference will be held in Pohnpei on May 12-15 and will coincide with the opening of the first regular session of the 16th FSM Congress.
