Cruz, who was assaulted by his superior Alex Chong last December over a $100 bet, said he met with DPW Secretary Martin Sablan.
Cruz said he also met with his legal advisors who, he added, urged him to “sue the government because they hired incompetent people who are gambling during working hours.”
Cruz said Sablan told him to continue with whatever he thinks is best for him.
He said he is thankful to Sablan and “has nothing against him — he is a good boss and I hope he will help me with this.”
Asked about the progress of the internal investigation conducted by DPW against Chong, Cruz said: “Nothing has happened yet.”
Sablan has not returned the calls and the e-mails of this reporter.
