In separate memorandums, Fitial announced that acting Attorney General Gregory Baka will be off-island from Nov. 15 to 21.
“During his absence, I am appointing Assistant Attorney Genera Thomas J. Schweiger to be the acting attorney general until his return,” Fitial said.
Inos is officially on leave starting today and his special assistant will take charge of the department in his absence.
“Please extend your full cooperation to Mr. Schrack as he assumes these additional duties,” the governor said.
No specific details were provided why the two officials are taking a leave.
