Obviously, he said, Bandila has taken the side of the forces of good and they have identified opposition presidential candidate Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III as their leader.
“Noynoy does not have the baggage of the other candidates. This election is about the moral issue. Noynoy has the moral ascendancy and Bandila advocates a Filipino Democratic Ideology that calls for a moral revolution in the country,” Tayag said.
The Bandila nominee,Tayag said Philippine society is now torn between the forces of evil and good. The forces of evil have the upper hand, he added. “Hence, the compelling need to unite under Noynoy’s standard.”
According to Tayag, “ Now is the time, more than ever, to put people in power who will stop massive graft and corruption. Bandila shall continue to grow by leaps and bounds against the forces of evil.”
Bandila, he said, “supports Noynoy because our advocacies jibe with his programs in regards to health, education and environment. His ‘No corruption, no poverty’ slogan, is consistent with our accountability drive among public officials, following the dictum thata public officeis a public trust. The issue of corruption and morality in politics raised by Noynoy are valid issues for Bandila. Even if the economy and infrastructure have been stabilized and improved, corruption has eroded gains in those fields.”
The Philippines will hold its first automated general elections on Monday, May 10.
