“We want all students to succeed academically and socially,” he said, adding that Hopwood will continue to partner with families.
He said Hopwood and the parents should work collaboratively and cooperatively to ensure the success of the students.
As the start of the new school year approaches, Barcinas said they will make sure that Hopwood will be safe and its students “productive and active.”
On Aug. 30, the school will hold its orientation for students and parents from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Attendance is mandatory, Barcinas said.
The last day for student registration is this Friday, Aug. 13.
Barcinas said all teachers and staff of Hopwood will report to work on Sept. 1.
The school uniform will be available at Hopwood from Aug. 19 to Sept. 7.
Parents can begin placing orders on Aug. 16 with Ruby Hocog.
But Barcinas said students can use their old uniform until they decide to replace it with the new blue and gold uniform.
The first day of school is set for Sept. 7.
Barcinas said parents should ask the cashiers of National Office Supply or Modern Stationery for a list of basic school supplies.
