The island’s chamber of commerce president Philip Mendiola-Long yesterday said they hope to get answers from Federal Labor Ombudsman Pam Brown who will be their keynote speaker during the September general membership meeting at the Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino tomorrow.
The meeting is scheduled from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mendiola-Long said the Tinian business community is already “burdened with the high costs of doing business as an outer island of the CNMI, added with the uncertainty of the economy, the uncertainty of continued government employment and now the uncertainty of foreign investment and foreign labor.”
