He said the government sent a team to trim down the overgrown bushes that had already covered almost half of the road and the street sign.
Residents in the area had been complaining about the government’s failure to trim the vegetation on Publiko Drive.
“The thieves were making these thick grown bushes their hiding place,”Guaio said.
The government also replaced the burned out street light, he added.
However, the leaking pipe has not been repaired yet, he said.
“The villagers are still very thankful that the government addressed some of the problems in this area,” he added.
